EXEL ADDS MICHAEL J. STOLARCZYK AS SENIOR DIRECTOR TO NORTH AMERICAN RETAIL SECTOR (Columbus, Ohio 6th of July 2005) Exel, the global leader in supply chain management, today announced the appointment of Michael Stolarczyk as Senior Director, Business Development, for the Company’s North American Retail sector. Stolarczyk will support the strategic growth of Exel’s Retail sector customer roster, which currently includes leading organizations such as The Home Depot, 7-Eleven, Williams-Sonoma and Wal-Mart. “In this role, Stolarczyk will draw on his international experience to deliver innovative business solutions to our client base. His focus will be to provide new value within the supply chain, and create profitability on behalf of our Retail customers," according to Patrick Kelleher, Exel’s Vice President of Business Development. “The addition of Michael, with his vast supply chain and business development knowledge, serves as a needed enhancement to our team,” said Kelleher. “We’ll be looking to Michael to help position Exel’s integrated supply chain offering in a fashion that resonates with our customers, based on their individual needs.” Prior to joining Exel, Stolarczyk served in various management positions with the A.P. Moller/Maersk Group through a 16-year stint in the United States, China, and Europe. Key roles included managing director of the Maersk Agency, chairman of the board for Maersk Logistics Czech Republic and Maersk Intermodal Europe, along with being a Board member of Ceske Pristavy (Czech Ports) a.s.. In 2002, Stolarczyk was named on Fast Company magazine’s list of the “Fast 50” global innovators because of his efforts to increase Maersk’s growth in Central Europe. Stolarczyk earned a bachelor’s of science degree, in business administration, from West Virginia University and also studied at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
